Technical Consultants
Technical Consultants are given a variety of responsibilities related to the implementation of Sage Accpac accounting and 3rd party software products. Utilizing their technical expertise, Technical Consultants work within a team environment and are assigned specific portions of the project to execute. These responsibilities include such tasks as form creation/modification, report customization, custom programming, as well as software and hardware installation.
The highest degree of your proficiency with the following is essential to ensure the clean rollout of a fully successful implementation:
- Hands-on experience with installation/setup/use of Sage Accpac accounting systems or similar accounting software
- Databases (eg: Pervasive ™, DB2 ™, MS-SQL ™, MS-Access ™, etc.)
- Network operations analysis/administration
- Server implementation/administration
- Proficiency with all standard Microsoft Office ™ applications
- Knowledge of various Operating Systems (eg: Windows ™, Linux, etc.)
- Crystal Report ® design/customization
- Knowledge of various .NET programming languages (ie, Visual Basic ™, Java ™, ASP, etc.)
This position requires candidates with:
